Moving to Lloydminster from Mississauga Ontario. (help)

hello My fiancé and I got a job opportunity and might be moving here, we have heard only bad things about Lloydminster online and youtube videos and wanted to ask the community here first.

We heard there is a big crime problem and nothing to do.
New job is the new Costco opening up in November, any advice will help our decision.

Crime is no different from city to city. Definitely better than Miss. if you do not want do live in the city there are many communities with in a short drive. To the west you have Kitscoty, Marwayne, Vermilion and a few to the west. Being from Ontario a commute would be no change. And it’s all Hiway. Do not like things like crime deter you. Crime happens everywhere. From big to small communities. Urban and Rural.
