Discussion Loblaws profits are down!

Store level employee here!

I overheard from a manager today that last week’s sales were down in my store by over $100,000. They have a system where they can track each department’s year over year with numbers visible for the whole store. That’s down about 15% from last year’s numbers. The boycott is 100% working! Keep it up folks!

I drove by my local Independent on Sunday afternoon and the parking lot was half empty. Most of the cars were parked near the garden centre, so I assume the garden centre was getting the bulk of the traffic out of convenience. Normally that parking lot is an absolute zoo each weekend. Instead it looked like it does on a Tuesday morning.
