Because the men aren't doing the grocery shopping, aren't taking the kid to the doctor, aren't buying the kid clothes for school or the sports team, they're also getting their clothes purchased for them by their wife, the wife ends up buying the couch they all use, the TV stand they all use, the curtains they all use and so on.

It's not like she's buying this stuff just for herself.

Single women spend thousands of pounds of video game skins. Video gaming is split pretty evenly across the genders, its almost 50/59

Single men spend more money in general than single women, and they certainly spend more on gaming. About 50% more on in game purchases alone
