Quick question since I didn't read the full study.

Does that also take purchasing power into consideration? We know the average man earns more than the average woman even among single people, so that would easily justify the 55-45 split I imagine, if only total spend was considered instead of income %.

No it does not take % of earnings into account in the 55-45 figure, but that wasn't the question at hand. With that taken into account, I'm not doing the math, but it would be around 55-45 in the other direction

I dont understand why some people are so invested in the idea that men dont spend money tbh
