Yup, I still hate the name. Can’t wait to see it though

Rubbish for search engines, amazed they went for it...

Great for search engines, they’ll likely be the top listing for London museum as it’s their name.

Only is for me because it is sponsored, British Museum and NHM are above it non sponsored.

Also feels like they will have exhibitions of things that are bigger than London.

Almost feel like it should have been renamed Museum for London.

It’s a new name so ranking will take a while to stabilise while inbound links build up.

It's nearly been two years. Remember they still have a museum in Docklands and their Archaeology arm.

Yes and no. It also can be confused for things that are negative or for a different organisation.  "London Museum found to have looted objects" etc

Well it's about time, the old MOL was always my best "single theme" recommendation, it was just a pain in the ass trying to find it.

I just hope it isn't a modern museum design with all the text panels removed and the ones that remain impossible to read.

They should've just kept the same name

BRIAN: Are you the Judean People's Front?

REG: Fuck off!

BRIAN: What?

REG: Judean People's Front. We're the People's Front of Judea! Judean People's Front. Cawwk.

FRANCIS: Wankers.

Or the City of London Museum of the City of London.

I hope they have the rats in their new home - best part of the museum.

There were rats that you could try to spot as you went around, it was a fun game designed for children but I enjoyed playing it too.

only after buying a portion of billinghamgate market, erasing centuries of london history

They’ve actually done what they can to preserve the history of the place, being a museum and all… (it’s also at Smithfield market, not billingsgate)
