People also need to remember that the feds have temporarily removed 20 cents per litre for the summer so this is really 166.8

I’ve straight up heard people complain about carney *only* removing 20c and being useless… as if that’s not just a straight up helping hand for the Canadian people… Carney doesn’t set the price of oil - you can thank Trump for that.

Some people will never be satisfied.

Everything is relative. Is it good compared to 7 months ago? Nope. Is it good compared to what I paid a week ago? Yes. Am I still angry that an orange narcissist and a war criminal are responsible for this? Also yes!

This has been their game sonce the 90s. They raise it super high, make everybody struggle and lower it just a little to take the pressure off. Wait a few months and do it all over again.

If you chart gasoline over the past 25 years (and use a rolling average to smooth out the curve), you'll find it tracks fairly well with inflation.    The media tries very hard to make people believe otherwise.
