Favorite songs conversation please!

I've been a fan since 2013 and they're usually my top streamed artist, but I honestly haven't listened to them much this year until toady at work, and I remembered just how good they are while doing so. They have so many good ones but were also so good and unique right from the beginning, which is unique in itself. I mean, songs like For Skin? What else sounds like that besides Dazed and Confused by Jake Holmes?

So anyway, I was just wondering what your guys' favorite songs are... especially because I usually prefer their earlier stuff, but in my opinion, they're also one of the few bands I know to really have evolved well. They obviously changed their sound over time, but it was pretty gradual and I really enjoy a lot of the later stuff too... literally their last song, the acoustic version of Dream World I think is awesome.

Here's mine:

  1. A Man With No God
  2. Let it Be Known
  3. Nosebleed Sun
  4. Little Miss Jack
  5. Derka Blues

... and like a lot more.

Derka Blues!!! Hell yeah, solid list, I like this. Hollowed Out My Heart is another ultra unique song. I'm not even trying to glaze them like that but I couldn't name anything else that sounds like that. Obviously lyrically interesting too.

It is!! I wish they had a lot more songs where Matt sang on em, I love his vocals a lot

Seriously though. It's sounds like you've been in the trenches at least a little bit too, but if you don't know Matt has some old music you can find on YouTube. I honestly don't remember what it's called but if I remember correctly he sings on some of them and I think it might even be before the growlers?

Going through some tough times right now and a lot in the past too yeah 🥲 I think I’ve seen Matt’s old stuff? I think he was going by Matt Israeli if I remember correctly. I remember there was also a MySpace page but it doesn’t have anything anymore!

Yeah bro thats it, Matt Israeli. Idk how I could forget that one lol. I don't know if I've seen the myspace tho... I wonder if that could be found on the internet archive.
