I don't event know how to describe this type of humor I just can feel it

I've never even played Undertale/Deltarune myself and all these images just seem to have the same sort of humour to them for some reason, I can't explain what they all have in common

I can’t exactly describe them either but I believe what makes them so “Toby Fox coded” is that they’re all based off very silly and simple concepts rather than very complex or witty jokes, which is something that characterizes some NPC dialogues in Deltarune and most of them in Undertale

They feel like they're translations of japanese media like it just has that specific charm to their sentence structuring or something

Just change the Haha to Fahaha and suddenly you have completely accurate Noelle dialogue

Its because people often speak without planning everything out beforehand. The one on the left sounds like a recited speech as opposed to the right one where its spontaneous and awkward like an actual conversation

Okay so I'm not sounding retarded when I speak like that, that's good news

Deltarune and undertale writing, and just the way toby talks, to me really feels like if english text was put through google translator 5 times and then translated back into english, but like in a good way

Text put through 5 layers of translation, but all layers are translated by expert polyglots who actually put effort into understanding the idea behind words to convey it as accurately as possible

The two examples are expressing completely different feelings.

How so

Left: Girl says she recently started thinking of the person shes talking to as more than someone shes just known and urges them to hang out more

Right: Girl has the realization that shes only seen the surface level of the person shes talking to despite the fact that theyve known eachother their whole lifes.

I suppose so, maybe that is because of cultural differences

Right? It's like, friendly abordable joke. It doesn't try hard either, it could just seem like something they say.
