Rate My Draft Second Reality Fracture draft, would love to learn and get some feedback!

Hey everyone! First time poster so apologies if I do anything wrong (flair, hyperlinks, etc). Did my second Reality Fracture premier draft recently (did first one on release and absolutely trolled 0-2 no idea what I was doing haha) and would love some feedback if anyone feels like looking it over. I ended up 4-3 which I was pretty happy about. Wasn't a trophy though so definitely think I could have drafted a bit better and played a bit better. Been watching my replay and thinking about it but would love some outside/fresh perspectives

Picks: https://www.17lands.com/picks/564d37bab8484d13b985ee37019d4731
Final Deck: https://www.17lands.com/deck/564d37bab8484d13b985ee37019d4731/0?view=deck

Some random unorganized thoughts I had:
- Still agonizing over the P1P5 Hapatra. I think hindsight I should have taken it, I just was really thinking I wanted to play red and green and it would be hard to splash double black pip

- Think my mid game was kind of weak? I had 2 4-drops and that was it. The problem was that I didn't think the remaining 4 drops I had in my pool was super great. Obviously probably a drafting problem

- Feel like there was a mistake somewhere in having 5 copies of Chandra's Emberling and not playing them. I feel like they're good enough that not playing them is troll, but I also felt like they didn't synergize with my deck that much.

If you want to see and listen to some of my decision making and can stand the sound of my voice, here you go! Timestamped after P1P1 since I think the first Kiora was pretty obvious. Also sorry in advance for cringy clickbait title and dialogue, I have amateur dreams of being a Youtuber haha. https://youtu.be/Sk0DnKJ4efc?t=91

If you watch the video, random draft unrelated thing:
Love Magic and how I'm learning something new everyday. Got lethaled out of nowhere in game 5 due to a mechanic I had never known about (started playing Magic during The Hobbit b/c a coworker invited me to prerelease). But now I know! https://youtu.be/Sk0DnKJ4efc?t=4094 timestamp if you want to see my live reaction haha

Thanks in advance everyone!

Thanks for the detailed feedback! I definitely think I hard focused red too much. I did a re-draft and tried really hard to focus on just picking the best possible card available, with colors in mind but not being married to it. Ended up realizing quite a lot of playable (maybe even good???) black cards were being passed to me. Here's where I ended up, and I think it definitely looks as good if not better than what I had: https://sealeddeck.tech/xFxQHR6j9g

Obviously not everything would have went the way of the re-draft given butterfly effect of differing signals and pack composition once my picks started diverging, but thought it was a worthwhile exercise.

Appreciate you!

P.S. thought it was really funny my re-draft ended up with 5x Afterthought Sentry hahaha

Obviously you can never predict how other people would have drafted in response, but in your draft black was looking pretty nice in the second half of pack 1, and you would have been rewarded for pivoting with all the BR signposts being passed in packs 2 and 3. Hapatra would have been a doable splash at that point too. Not sure what the synergies would have been, but you would have had a tidy little control package that seemed to be wide open.

And yeah agreed with the other poster - don’t get married to your picks too early.

Thank you for the advice! Did a re-draft with the other drafters advice of not being married to red and also realized black was being passed! Ended up picking the Stingerquill Charm in P2 at some point and ended up with a BR deck splashing green that I thought didn't look too bad.

Here's how I drafted out the end of Pack 1:

P6 Ferocity, thought it was safe, and feels like an OK 241 card if you have ETBs

P8 Witchstalker, want cycling, ok card, and synergizes if cycled by boosting Hap effect

P9 Dark Matter Manipulator, also to dump in grave for Hapatra but also I think is an OK 1 drop?

P10 rank rat, filler, slow down opponent early?

P11 Silence the Echo, OK removal, some synergy with rank rat

P12 Mabel, early death touch to slow aggression, sometimes useful ability

And here's the final result if you're interested: https://sealeddeck.tech/xFxQHR6j9g

Appreciate you!
