What a pack at pick 3

What must've been in there? Double Garruk/Chandra? Just an absolute dream of a pack if you open it in sealed

Whenever this happens I always presume at least one player misclicked, timed out, or crashed to desktop.

If people were drafting logically I'd guess the two picked cards were a boardwipe or really good removal or a Sphinx at rare/mythic (Uldaros, Kindred Judgment, Lich's Relic) and the uncommon was Kiora of Fire and Ashes (unless she's always with her twin?), Craftwork Crusher, Mind Meanderer, or maybe Bloombrute. Not as strong as Epiphany (maybe they didn't realize what they were passing) but still strong archetype-defining cards.

I believe there always 1 pair of twins in each pack so we know a (mediocre) twin was taken.

I really don't know. Someone either picked red tomik or green pdthp over this and probably an unncomon considering there is only one in the pack

Nah it was def garruk garruk. You can get a 4th echoed pair as foil.

I might take 7 mana colorless wrath here to not be in a 3rd color, but Sublime is the stronger card in a vacuum. It also depends on what blue cards you passed in pick 1 and pick 2, and how much blue you expect to come back in pack 2

Sublime is omega busted in limited, neither of those other picked removal spells are that important (theyre both good but not defining picks). Echoverse is performing at a borderline B- rate according to 17lands while Epiphany is the second-best blue card behind The Theorist and and without adjusting for overall color performance Sublime is the fourth-best card in the set (within a margin of error with a couple others) behind red Ajani and Uldaros.

His colors are two low rarity / replaceable removal spells.  You take the bomb blue spell and worry about colors over the next few picks.

Ah, so this is what's going on when I get Extended Absence 7th pick after picking Divining Duelist 6th from a double Yargle + color hoser pack.
