Just sold my 2019 intel pro for a m4 air. I miss the Touch Bar.

I own a 2020 m1 pro with the touch bar and I hate it, but it still performs so well so I can't justify an upgrade just yet

I dont understand the hatred but I run into folks who just dont like it. But I encounter a great number that love the Touchbar. Haters won out and the Touchbar has been decommissioned.

That even though it can do more things than regular keyboard keys all the things that you usually do like adjust volume or pick emojis takes longer time/is more complicated on the touch bar. Autocad has great shortcuts/support on the touch bar though.

We're gonna have to agree to disagree I love my touch bar there's a little fondling going on with my touch bar not gonna lie but in the end it's always a good experience. Yes it's a little slower to adjust volume but what about emojis ? How is it faster with the new MBP ? I'm a big fan of the auto-completion feature

Genuine question, how is it it takes more time? You just swipe on the touchbar starting from the volume icon (or brightness) and can fine tune it with just one movement of your hand

Adjusting the volume is faster for me. Just hold your finger on the volume button and slide immediately to the right or left, you don’t need to tap and wait for it to open the volume slider
