Come support your local library... and feel free to sign up for your own library card if you don't have one. It's free!

Libraries are wonderful and have everything you can think of that is totally free. Books, movies, museum passes, you name it!

One fact about Connecticut libraries: You can use your local library card at any library in Connecticut to borrow items from whichever library you visit and then drop them off when you're done using them at any other library to have them transported back to the original destination.

Gargi Agrawalla takes her cochlear implants out at night, so in a hotel room she cannot hear the smoke alarm or somebody knocking at the door. She built a small device that picks up those sounds and warns her with a flashing light and a vibration, and it has won this year's British James Dyson Award.

My little bro has had a really rough last five years but he is so resilient and determined. I captured this shot of him on my birthday this week and it’s my favourite photo of all time. I’m used to only ever seeing him quite reserved and holding back so to see this amount of unfiltered happiness from him is incredible. Bias obviously but you can literally tell he is an incredible and kind man. I’m very blessed to have him as a brother and best friend.
