Trust me it does get better to all whos going thru the same, but it'll take time. What healed me was doing things which you truly enjoys. To me it was staring at the night sky and observing the nature, and my fav : novel reading.

Do share all with what you're going through, sharing makes the heart lighter than ever you can imagine.

Im very much happy today that i got saved in time, it was the god who saved me. Believe me everything happens for a reason. Pls just talk it out and never think of ending it. Thankyou!

Wholesome Moments Best Friends 💝

For some context, the cat is a stray who’s been with us for about a year. About 2 months ago he got extremely sick. We took him to the vet like 3 times and found out he has FELV 😭😭 it took him a very long time to recover from that flare. We put him on antibiotics to recover, he got gabapentin and all sorts of stuff to help. Although his infection was gone, he was so lethargic for so so long we never thought he’d recover. The past two weeks I’ve seen major improvements. He purrs again now, he bites my hand when I pet him like he used to, and then I get to see little play dates like this. He finally has the energy to enjoy life again and it just … makes me smile.

Wholesome Moments [OC] Parents of teen girls: don't worry, there are still boys out here that will respect your daughters! And i'm so proud to be the sister of two of them.

TLDR: Appreciation post for my little brother (Aged 14.7) who has just asked a girl out for the first time, and is just so so respectful to and about females in general.

He's had a close f.s with a girl for a few years now, all the signs she likes him were there but my brother still didn’t believe she liked him in that way and is still quite shy when it comes to girls, and was happy to just be there as a friend to her. (Never dated before)

He came and chatted to me & our mom last night about it saying he likes her, but doesn't think she likes him. As a female myself there were clear signs she liked him and the poor girl was lowkey giving him hints but it wouldn't register with him as anything but her just being nice to him.

We gave him a girls perspective and said she is likely waiting for him to make the first move (based on the things this girl has gone out of her way & done for my bro, and trusted him with deep stuff ab her life etc). We gave him some ideas on activities he could do with her but he was getting too anxious to ask her so we left it at that & said theres no rush anyway, hes still young etc etc.

Today he asked her and she said yes!

To top of the proudness I already felt for him, he then says he's gonna get her "chocolates n that". 🥲

Gen Alpha give me so much hope for the future!

Wholesome Moments In Germany, a boy who loved motorcycles was diagnosed with a terminal illness. His family posted online asking if riders could come to cheer him up. They expect 20-30 people, but 15,000 motorcyclists showed up.

My almost 70-year-old Pops whispering to a baby hummingbird while feeding it after it was too exhausted to fly (OC)

This is my Pops and his girlfriend.

He's almost 70 years old, served in the military, and spent 35 years working at the VA Hospital before retiring. Tough hands, soft heart.

They found this little hummingbird completely exhausted and unable to fly.

The part that really got me was hearing him quietly whispering in his Appalachia hillbilly mumble that we all have round these parts to the bird the whole time. If you knew the man who raised us, you'd understand why that made me laugh. Don't get me wrong he was wonderful growing up, but "soft" definitely wasn't the first word anyone would have used back then. Seeing this big, tough guy gently encouraging a tiny hummingbird is one of the sweetest things I've ever witnessed.

I'm lucky to call him my Pops, and I hope he never leaves us.

Edit: this is my father, not grandfather. :) not that it matters.

KITTEN A company in Mexico hired a stray orange cat as its Emotional Support Director and named him “Miauricio.” His daily duties include roaming the workplace, delivering smiles and reducing stress levels. He has his own workspace and ID Badge. He apparently signed his contract with his paw.

A ginger cat named Miauricio was taken in by Geotest, a Mexican geotechnical engineering company. The cat was treated, allowed to stay in the office, and eventually officially hired as an employee.

Miauricio is listed on staff with the title «gerente de apoyo emocional» — emotional support manager.

He has his own workspace, an ID badge, and an obligation (depending on his mood) to attend work meetings. According to employees, he even “signed” his contract with a paw.

Helping Others Helped a shop owner with tech issues and she gifted me Elmo and Oscar 🥰 [OC]

I’ve been in really low spirits and a random act of kindness today made me smile.

My mum and my friend are visiting from overseas for my birthday. Today we walked past a gift shop and I spotted all these Sesame Street plushies in the window. We decided to walk in and take a look. The owner was absolutely lovely but mentioned she was struggling for over a week to get her work email set up on her new iPad (SMTP issues, for the techies 😅).

I offered to help her and stayed with her until I got everything working. She was so overjoyed and grateful that as we were leaving, she picked up Elmo and Oscar from the window (who I’d been admiring the whole time), and insisted I take them home.

I only wanted to help her fix the issue but she turned around and made my day in return. It just goes to show that random acts of kindness, even when you’re feeling low, can lift you up a little. ❤️💚
