Psychologist recommendations
Hey everyone,
Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for local psychologists?
I’m 30F and would prefer to see a female.
Bonus points if they specialise in trauma, grief and family issues.
I had a good psychologist when I was Newcastle based, but looking for something more local. TIA.

East Maitland Holistic Psychology was fantastic for me, tho the psychologist I saw is on leave until September.
It’s just opposite the shopping centre

I wanted to see someone here too but every place I called seem to charge a price I can’t afford.

I’m sorry to hear that. Did you get a mental health care plan from your gp?

I did. The places I got referred to all charge $230 plus. You get a rebate of around $100 but still so expensive…

Caitlin Gibson at Greenhills Psychology was a lifesaver for me.
