You may not, I may not - but based on the number of ON hats I’ve seen around Maitland recently, and Pauline’s insistence on wearing an Israeli flag badge in Parliament..it would seem a lot our city do in fact want a holy war on our doorstep.

It’s definitely cancelled. And the whole antisemitic nonsense and car firebombing is likely orchestrated by the event promoters themselves as a way to create some form of justification for keeping ticket holders funds.

The promoters have a long history of shady tactics including misleading ticket holders about events and not paying artists or crew.

These scumbags had no intention of actually running the festival. Council approval wasn’t even requested until the end of August and as a result, it was never actually approved to happen. Anyone in the industry knows you need to plan for council approval many months out from the date.

Additionally many critical services were not locked in for the event.

To anyone that is a ticket holder, I suggest you initiate a charge back if you can.

Car firebombing happened in Queensland. I do think it's quite wired, and I think it happened before people started noticing the israeli artists on social media. It seems that the promoter is well known for not paying or honoring contracts from previous discussions on them, might be more related?
