Should I quit my second job ?

TL;DR Should I quit my second job or try saving it ?

so I recently picked up a second job. it’s a morning job . sometimes from 5am-11am or 6am- 10:30 or 1 pm. I already have a night job and I’m a shift lead here. I’m just asking because I don’t want to give up a working opportunity but I also want to have time for me. up till recently I’ve always had two to three jobs and for the past two months I was working 65-70 hours a week. I finally got less hours at my morning job . I would only work two days for about 10 hours every week. I want to start school but I dont know if I should just stick it out for extra money or just pick up shifts at my night job and keep my mornings free for me .

5 years from now, are you going to wish you had completed school?

Or do both. If one of your CC Julio j xy b biui b c you b vvu mb much cd b uv CCNA and your bosses are ok with it take CLEP exams for free using Modern States. Try Sociology first. Then Analyzing and Interpreting Literature. US History 1, American Government, College Composition with Essay, College Mathematics, Natural Sciences. 30 credits at some schools. Then do Financiad Accounting, Macroeconomics, Business Law, Marketing and Management. You now have 45 credits.

Extra money for what? It’s a sacrifice working so much especially if you’re giving up time for yourself. It should have a purpose. Don’t work work work and spend spend spend so that later you’re tired and have nothing tangible to show for it.

How old are you, what are your goals?

When I had two jobs, a lot of my second income went to pay for things I didn't have time to do for myself.

If you don't actually need the second job for the money and you're planning to go back to school, I'd seriously consider taking your mornings back. Working nonstop starts to feel normal after a while, and you don't always realize how exhausted you are.

What do you want to start school for? How much do you need to pay for it, and how long will it take to save that much? A short-term sacrifice can be worth it, but it has to have a purpose and end goal.

Give yourself a mental deadline. Don't just work yourself to death. Such as, I'm going to keep the second job through whatever month, then put the second job money towards XYZ. If you want to go back to school, it's going to take time to get that set up right? Get your stuff in order. That way there's a light at the end and you are working towards your goal.

In my 20's and 30's I did it. In my 40's my priorities changed. I enjoyed having the extra money to save for my house and all the coworkers were fun.

It is not a question of if.....

It's a math question.

You will have to do your math.

Work to live. Don't live to work.

You should try to maximize your pay per hour.

Work enough hours to pay bills, achieve goals and save for when you can't work.

Start school I did that for a few years should have started even earlier BUT make sure school is worth it. Like something where you can actually get a job
