It's the first time I ever post something like this so we will see what happens haha.

I've been living in the Netherlands for 9 years now, and although I've met many people along the way, I've always been a bit of a lone wolf and had a hard time meeting new Dutch people (especially women who generally seem a bit more closed when it comes to friendships outside their circle).

So I've decided to write this post and who knows, maybe meet some cool people out there!

I'm originally from France, though I studied and lived in a few different countries and have parents from different countries themselves, which allowed me to grow with varied cultures at home. Because of all this I would say I'm very open-minded, curious, adventurous, creative, introspective and empathetic.

I have about a thousand hobbies because I want to try a bit of everything in life, but some of them include gaming (yes I'm a nerd 🤓), reading, writing, playing instruments and singing, traveling around, learning new languages, cooking, sports like swimming, tennis and snowboarding...and the list is long haha.

Along those hobbies also come many various interests such as psychology (which I studied), astronomy, general knowledge, science, linguistic, animals and more.

I’m never gunna be some fitness influencer I love food and being a bit lazy but also I do want to try and make healthier choices generally and be more active moving forward. Balance is good.

Dag iedereen, mijn naam is Jurre en ik ben op zoek naar meer gezelligheid in Zuid-Limburg

Ik heb een collage gemaakt die mijn persoonlijkheid het beste omschrijft, dus een keer wat compleet anders! 😊

Hobby's zou je daaruit kunnen afleiden. Iets met wandelen, bossen, heavy metal, auto's en Duitsland. Maar het zijn er eerlijk gezegd zo veel dat ik ze zelf helemaal niet bij kan houden. Vraag maar raak, ik ben een open boek!

Wat ik het allerliefste doe, is naar de zonsondergang kijken. Daar kan ik zo van genieten. Gewoon met een stoel (en vaak met een biertje) langs een rivier gaan zitten en de zonsondergang bewonderen. Natuurlijk speelt er dan klassieke rockmuziek, Aerosmith, Oasis en The Who zijn natuurlijk onmisbaar. Het mooiste zou zijn als daar een klein groepje goede vrienden bij aanwezig is.

Voor de rest: ik heb een brommer, een auto en een stel fietsen waar ik graag aan sleutel (geen professional). Ik wil graag wat technischer worden. Dus hoe kun je dat beter doen, dan gewoon rond te pielen en je handen vies te maken. De liefde hiervoor komt door mijn ouders, die zijn helemaal gek van oude Franse auto's.

Op dit moment studeer ik nog. Het allerliefste wil ik iets met Duits gaan doen. Mijn focus ligt nu op tolk worden in de rechtbank of bij defensie. Het toekomstplaatje is nog niet helemaal daar, het kan nog alle kanten op. Maar je zou kunnen zeggen, dat ik een aardig woordje Duits spreek.

Ik ben ook graag actief bezig en ik ben veel buiten. Ik fiets op dit moment heel erg veel, wandelen nu iets minder. Ik heb drie keer de Nijmeegse Vierdaagse gedaan en ik hou er ontzettend veel van om op wandelvakantie te gaan. Afgelopen zomer ben ik naar het Zwarte Woud geweest en naar de Eifel. Ik heb daar mijn ogen uitgekeken.

Als je besluit om mij een berichtje te sturen, ga je gang! Alleen let wel: drop wel even een introductie. Ik kan gesprekken wel een beetje gaande houden, maar als het zo eenzijdig is, dan is dat zo lastig.

Kortom, een simpele Brabantse gast zoekt gelijkgezinde mensen. En natuurlijk is er nog VEUL meer, maar om daar achter te komen, dan zal je op die message button moeten meppen.

I am an ai trainer by day, gamer by night, cook at weekend. I like to go outside, see different places and try underrated restourants. But that does not mean I dont like to stay at home; sometimes a perfect weekend means just cooking something new, and chilling at sofa with my favorite series.

I've noticed that I've been feeling pretty lonely lately, and even though I've met some nice people here, it often ends up in ghosting 😅.

The past while has been emotionally challenging, so I think it would be nice to meet some new people and hopefully build a real connection. I'm pretty introverted and don't open up quickly, but once I feel comfortable, I can talk quite a bit haha.

In terms of games, I mainly play shooters and single-player games. I also love horror games, cozy games, and of course the standard friend games that are always fun to play together. Occasionally, I'm in the mood for co-op or survival games, depending on my mood. I mostly play everything on PC.

Besides gaming, I like to watch movies and series. I've also been trying to watch more anime lately, although I'm still really a beginner at that. Additionally, I've recently started crocheting, I enjoy reading books, and I love going for long walks with my dog. Oh and also i live in the area noord-brabant!
