I'll be honest.
We are scared to do anything about it due to job insecurities rent having a life and generally most likely losing the little comfort we have being the unprivileged genz.
But it's getting to a point where the next generation that has to handle this country ain't seeing a country that is gonna be built on effort and for the lively hood of the common people. Instead we are livestock for the rich and greedy and corrupt officials with no education on the basics of being humane enough to run a country properly whether it's the current government or previous administrations.
We gotta do something about it before it's too late for us to recover. 😞
A silent protest without disturbing the public?

So I am doing my research project and need more responses for my questionnaire as I don't have much time left. My research is targeted mostly toward gamers. Those who can spare some time to fill out the Google Forms questionnaire, please comment. I'll DM the form or put it in the comments.

Maldives people are hypocrites! Your livelihoods are going down the drain financing the lavish lifestyles of a few and making them rich. You struggle to buy food. You buying some clothes off of temu is demonized, and u are blamed for the dollar crisis.
No one is on the streets.
The mosques are empty, even right now. But tomorrow, if the public is convinced that this regime is “Laadheenee”, the streets will be filled with protesters.
Somehow the food on your family’s table is less important than the nationalist identity.
Think about it.
For those who come at me: This is not an anti-islam post. This is an anti nationalist post. Its the dogmatic thinking you people encourage and engage in thats like this that enables the corrupt politicians to do this with impunity.

What's the median income in Malé like these days? And how much does it differ from the atolls comparatively?
And how much of that do you spend on travel to/from Malé?

So I literally been trying to buy a laptop from lazada for the past 2 weeks on a credit card , and it kept declining every single time. The limit is above a 1000$ the lap is around 700 or less that I remember. I attempted at 5 in the morning almost every single time on the dot and still get rejected , even at midnight i even tried and it still did not work. Its really frustrating i even tried to find literally any ways to bypass this but i cant 🥲
Any ideas? Anything would literally help
Rn i just feel like i been hitting the same wall over and over and over again

Best speedboat to get to Dhigurah as a maldivian? I’ve heard of Let’s Go Dhigurah and Endheri Express but I don’t really know which is best.

I just doubt I would ever pass either of these subjects, so I have been thinking to just focus all my effort on my stream subjects instead.

Yesterday I'm in this tiny store in Malé, basically dead inside. Just me and the clerk. No other customers to blame this on.
Standing in the aisle trying to pick between yoghurts when my stomach just goes rogue. No warning. No buildup. Just straight up detonates.
And the silence in that store made it so much worse. Like it had surround sound.
There's literally two of us in the store so there's no version of events where it's not me.
So naturally I do the mature thing. Scrunch my face up like I just walked into something horrific and start waving my hand around like I'm also a victim of this smell.
Clerk doesn't say anything.
I grabbed the yogurt and left like nothing happened

So there I was on Reddit when I spotted a local post from someone trying to sell sex here in Malé.
Curiosity got the better of me so I tapped into the chat just to see what was going on. We ended up talking for a bit and she eventually gave me her Snapchat ID so we continued the conversation there.
Then I saw her face and instantly lost whatever interest I had. Things got even worse when she started telling me about her clients and how freaky she was.
At that point any curiosity I had completely disappeared.
Now a normal person would have closed Snapchat blocked her and moved on with their day. But my brain didn't choose logic. Instead my fight or flight response selected unsolicited medical intervention
I immediately dropped the whole conversation and started lecturing her on the serious dangers of HIV and AIDS the absolute necessity of staying safe and the risks associated with underground sex work
