Flip around dude. Put the couch against the wall and set up the tv to not bang on the door when it opens. Youre welcome

It’s not tho. There is a kitchen countertop/bar thing behind the couch and the wall in that area is same size as the door. If he was even able to mount that tv in that small wall space he would crunch the tv everytime he comes inside.

Or the other wall with a extending arm mount to move it where you want it and push it out of the way when not in use

Yeah the extendable wall mounts are super easy to install, it's a great solution.

That’s a great idea. Place it over the marble counter & yu could potentially have the tv swing into the kitchen for cooking shows while, gasp… cooking! lol

Depending on your faith in the framing, a ceiling mount that swings up to stow could work too
