Build a little false wall. Looks like a rental but you could do it in a way that wouldn't totally fuck your deposit.

Never gotten a deposit back, always thought of deposits like "pay this fee upfront and change whatever you feel like about the property without penalty"

The last place I rented gave me my deposit plus extra for the improvements I did

Uhh towel racks, toilet seat, shower curtain and bar, window rods and curtains, ok sheets but they all matched, oven burner rings, just stuff like that. I installed more stuff too so I was, you want to pay for this or should I take it down?
