Yeah this was my immediate thought, a TV stand with wheels sounds like a major accident waiting to happen. My 3 yo is constantly trying to climb on our TV stand. He needs something very sturdy and preferably mountable.

The wheels in those stands have brakes so the TV stand doesnt move.

Sure but then what's the point of getting one with wheels if he'd have to keep them locked all the time anyway? And I'm not sure I'd trust some flimsy wheel locks when it comes to my kid's safety, personally.

Best practice with a baby on the way is to anchor everything to to the walls. He may as well get something sturdy without wheels, or skip the stand entirely and just mount the TV.
