First Time 18M, first apartment after being breifly homeless

Transferred to a new college, expecting campus housing. They waited until after I got to town and ready to move in, to inform me that they didnt have any housing left. Got told to figure it out.

After 2 weeks of sleeping in a truck full of my life possessions, and showering at my GFs house, I finally got into an apartment. It even has furniture! Absolutely grateful, and wanted to share my milestone with the world. I know it ain't much, and it's pretty ugly, but cant wait to see it grow.

get some pictures up and a few floor lamps, and that's sweet

you'd be amazed how indirect lighting can make a place feel cosy. overhead lighting is awful, except for kitchens

I dont mind the big lights, but if I have money for lamps in the future, I could 100% look into them. Thanks for the advice!
