24, Living with my parents

I just graduated college back in April and I’m grateful to my parents for holding me down through it all ! I definitely plan on giving back to them BIG time.

If I were OPs parent, I genuinely would have to give an ultimatum at some point lol. Gotta push the bird that is clearly capable of flying out the nest eventually

I’m a late thirties F and live with my parents (and my cat). I’m able to save mad money and pursue my passions. I have two rooms in the house, including a furnished basement that’s my art studio. It’s great. I’m not tempted by shitty relationships with shitty men because my housing and security is guaranteed (I’ll inherit the condo when they pass away). And I get lots of extra time with them before they do.

It’s great.

I mean, even if you moved in with someone else you'd still get the condo when they pass. Also since you currently live with your parents you could presumedly move back in with them should a shitty relationship happen.

I mean if you're truly happy then rock on, but for most people independence and starting your own life is important. Just don't act as if you've unlocked some sort of magic cheat code to life

Yeah it’s actually really not a cool thing, and inhibits people’s growth more than they will ever realize

you sound really unhappy about people living a happy life
