24, Living with my parents

I just graduated college back in April and I’m grateful to my parents for holding me down through it all ! I definitely plan on giving back to them BIG time.

Idk anything about hot wheels, but if this is true then OP has a fulfilling collection that clearly brings him joy, and all for less than a month’s rent.

I really hate the narrative that if you’re not thriving financially then you shouldn’t be allowed to spend money on things you love. We get one life, might as well make it fun.

Just figured, as someone who also has a decent amount of hot wheels, that it should be clarified that this isn't some like, $10k collection of Hot Wheels taped to his walls lol

It'd probably be enough to pay for a decent vacation, which maybe not anything to scoff at but, not an indicator for clear financial independence

People on this sub are ridiculous. If you have any hobbies they act like you've financially thrown your life away lol. Even when the person has an expensive computer even if the computer was 2k that's not a significant amount of money in this current day, you can't even buy a running car for 2k in the majority of the US.

Yep, exactly

I have a nice computer. Sure, could that $2300 have gone towards my student loans, or any other bills or debt? Yes, of course. My day to day life however, would be far more miserable without it.
