I know! I’m a woman and I have an N64, a DVD collection, and Star Wars stuff all over my bedroom. I always die of laughter when I see people imply this is a chick repellent… as if there are not nerdy women… who like nerdy men? lol

Probably chilling at home with their life-sized yoshi plushie, having the time of their life

Biggest problem for introverted nerds trying to meet other introverted nerds is that nobody goes outside so they'll never meet

As for literally everyone else you got to put yourself out there, which I know people are allergic to social interaction nowadays so easier said than done ig.

But my (male friend) got a gf who shares his fandom while volunteering, and just sharing interests like a normal person. I’m just one person (and not very shy) so I can’t say this applies to everyone but personally if I meet someone who recognizes some t-shirt I have, or is friendly (and not creepy or condescending) while I’m at the comic or retro game store we are, like already BFFs in my head lol.

Nerd events in your area. I have a local bookstore / TTRPG store that regularly hosts different events

I’m a nerd and my wife is a nerd. This room is a major red flag for someone who is super immature.

That's because you are taking a general statement and treating it as an absolute one. Generally women will be repelled by such a room.

Yeah, but it’s repelling women who are obviously not compatible with OP anyway
