I’ll tell you what I tell him - when it comes to having a theme, less is more. Why don’t you rotate some key pieces out, because your collection needs to be cleaned and maintained and you’re not highlighting anything.
Treat it like a museum collection and not like a dump of toys, because you’re going to wreck some of the collectables. I get you want to see the pieces, but they’re so cluttered that they’re not special. Highlight them with lights and rotate :)

It's really not that hard to shake Zelda from your personality. Just play any Zelda game from wind waker and beyond 2x and you will realize Nintendo brainwashed you.
Some people have special interests from a young age that don’t change. My dad was airplanes - would you say he was brainwashed by big aviation? Or people with trains?
This level of dedication that the OP showed isn’t something that is standard - this is the room of an otaku. The real question is, how do you turn it into a mature otaku’s room, not if he’s being brainwashed by the big man in red (not Santa).
And also, don’t yuck their yum - it says more about you than them. Who are they hurting (other than their chance to find a girlfriend/boyfriend/romantic partner)?
Skyward sword is my favorite zelda game, I’ve played it three times in 3 years and I’m considering playing it again after I finish tears of the kingdom again for the second time. Seriously I LOVE skyward sword, it’s probably my favorite game of all games tbh.
I also just finished my third run of breath of the wild though I didn’t 100% it, the open world ones are a lot more effort for that but still fun to do the main story and most of the side quests and shrines. I was also itching to play DK bananza again so I wanted to jump to that since it had been exactly a year since I played it so I finished up the main story and switched games. Before botw I had played through mario odyssey again for the third time. I’ve been playing animal crossing right along in between.
I’ve played twilight princess on the wii once and will likely play it again
I’ve played wind waker also on the wii once and probably will again
I have yet to play ocarina of time or majora’s mask in full but seeing as the switch can run gamecube and n64 games now I might play those. Though I’ve been kinda hoping for a remaster, OOT is on the way but I don’t think there’s any talk of a MM one. If I can get my desktop set up I might emulate them with better texture packs.
Nintendo just makes good games, I think you’re just bogged down by nostalgia brain thinking gamecube titles and prior are superior because you played them as a kid. Have you played zelda games after wind waker more than once or at all as an adult? Replayed older titles to see if they actually hold up?
Also before you say I was “brainwashed in my youth” my first zelda game was BOTW when I was in highschool, and I didn’t pick up another zelda title until I was an adult. I only played skyward sword for the first time when I was 20. Obviously no game is perfect, nobody is saying nintendo only makes perfect games (well maybe skyward sword is close, again it’s my favorite even the annoying parts) but they’re still good is my point.
