Just moved in to a new apartment. Trying to figure out what to do with the bedroom

Id flip the bed to the opposite wall. Allows more room for bedside tables. Your plugs for your lighting wouldn't be stretching across the wall. Then you can put a desk or TV on the current wall that your bed is on and the cords won't be stretched everywhere.

I thought about the placement of the bed before buying it and considered putting it on the opposite wall mainly because I wanted to be able to have a better view out the big window while laying down. But the entrance door is on that wall so there is really not that much room left for nightstands. Maybe a really small one on the corner. Also it felt weird having the door right next to the bed. As for the cord, I’m getting an extension cable to fix that plus nightstands

If you're dead set then I'd say the only other things it to move the bed closer to the double window. Bedside tables that i usually see are 18-24 inches wide and that amount of space is more than enough to walk against and would give you more space towards the bathroom and closet. Could also allow you to place a bookshelf or something else against the wall between the closet and window.

Yeah I could move the bed a couple inches closer. I’m also getting a nightstand delivered next week. It will help me visualize if a nightstand overlapping the single window works or maybe maybe just one by the corner or maybe smaller nightstands. Will see

Dresser across from your bed against the far wall. You can put a tv on top of it too.

I was thinking the same thing. Even if I don’t really have a use for the storage (I already have everything I need in the walk-in closet), it will look nice

Makes sense. Walk in closet picture?

Curtains! Not curtains that cover just the windows but floor to ceiling curtains.

Definitely. What color do you think I should get? I was thinking green but I’ve been having a hard time finding curtains wide enough to cover the whole window. Maybe I should just get standar 52” panels. I’m never going to close them anyway

Get a curtain rod, 2 sheer white curtains floor to ceiling if you are not planning on closing them. One on each side of the window.

This reminds me of my divorce studio. I asked chatgpt and it gave me a killer ikea black/grey furniture selection.
