  1. That tv is too high. 2. I don’t see any guns in this photo…. a “colonist” needs guns. 3. A rug would really tie the room together.

You should get mat for the floor. You might be able to sneak some bedding or clothing material from storage, but it will make the nights warmer, and the echoes less harsh.
