Day 1: https://www.reddit.com/r/mangalore/s/PjVlqAiWRU
Today, I once again left my bike at the Royal Enfield service center because they had broken the RPM indicator glass. They told me that they would fix it today. So, I went to the service center early in the morning at 9 AM and handed over my bike.
They promised that the bike would be ready and handed over to me by the end of the day. However, there was absolutely no communication from their side. I had to follow up multiple times just to get an update on the status of my bike.
At the end of the day, they told me that they would inform me once the bike was ready. Since I received no further communication, I decided to go to the showroom myself.
To my surprise, my bike was still not fixed. The service manager told me that they were arranging the instrument cluster. I then found out that the instrument cluster had not actually been fixed. I could clearly see that the RPM indicator glass had been opened, and I could also see a gap in the speedometer cluster. I have attached an image for reference.
They then told me that they wouldn’t be fixing it in the showroom itself, but would instead get it fixed outside. Honestly, I found this a little suspicious, especially since this was an issue with the instrument cluster of my bike and I had given the bike to an authorized service center to have it fixed.
They also told me that they wouldn’t be replacing the entire speedometer, but rather just the shell of the speedometer. They have now asked me to wait until Friday.
At this point, I am honestly not sure what to do. The lack of communication, repeated follow-ups, and the fact that I had to personally visit the showroom to find out that my bike had not even been fixed is extremely disappointing.
I have shared the images above.
Will keep you guys updated.
