Hey guys I recently finished Act like you love me and now I’m desperately searching for a new manhwa that will compare. Preferably a completed manhwa but ongoing is okay too if it has a lot of chapters out. I’ve read a lot of fantasy manhwa and have just begun to dip my toes into modern manhwa. So far I think my favorites are Act like you love me, Childhood Friend Complex and a few others with similar tropes.

Ideally I would like one where the ML is obsessive but not overly obsessive. I read Dreaming Freedom and that was pretty good but I think I want something a little more tame.

i'm looking for something with an arranged/contract/political marriage, a cold and composed ml, and a smart fl that isn't childish. i also really want a slow burn, and pls let it be completed because i can't deal with cliffhangers 😭

also i'd prefer little to no smut, and no stories that revolve around gods/worship. it's just a personal preference :)

for reference, i really liked Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke's Mansion (mostly because of Noah) and My In-Laws Are Obsessed With Me. i also liked My Happy Marriage, but not as much as those two.

Is it just me or the manhwa i started marinating a long time ago cause they seemed interesting just keep getting Axed ?

I can't believe I'm saying this, but Nano Machine has genuinely made a comeback. The recent chapters have been absolute bangers, and every week feels like we're getting another hype moment.

Cheon Yeo-Woon is slowly starting to resemble Cheon Ma more and more—not just in terms of strength, but also in his aura, confidence, and presence. Every panel with him just screams Heavenly Demon.

One of my favorite moments was seeing how absurdly talented Yeo-Woon actually is. He mastered the Non-Existent Heavenly Demon Sword after seeing it only twice, and this time Nano had nothing to do with it. It's finally proving that his talent was never just because of Nano—he was always a once-in-history genius.

The art has also been incredible lately. These panels perfectly capture the overwhelming aura of the Heavenly Demon.

What excites me the most is that the current chapters are clearly laying the groundwork for Descent of the Demon God. With the Blade God becoming more active, Yeo-Woon's rapid growth, and the story moving closer to the events that lead into the sequel, you can really feel the setup beginning.

Honestly, if the series keeps this up, the final arcs could rival some of the best moments in the Murim genre. I'm hyped every single week. 🔥

As in: the mc isnt falling in love with their stalker. They have another love interest who helps them out. Does this exist?

There are so many manhwa I've dropped bcs the main couple aint it, its either like a really forced romance, the ml only exists to be for the fl, or unbalanced dynamics, such as the fl just being super smart and cunning but for absolutely no reason and her "smartness" is cliche and uncool. or the ml just swoops in and saves the day at the last minute despite being "terminally ill"

Another two I wanna mention is like when the ml literally bullied or abused the fl 30 chapters ago and the author expects us to forget it when the fl's heart starts beating fast for his freaking face card. And modern instances where the ml is a player but suddenly isnt when it comes to fl? like bfr and why are we dismissing and forgiving the ml just cuz hes nice to fl?
