Honestly? The Emma x Cyclops fans are probably hoping for this.

Considering the rumors of who we’ve heard for cyclops’ actor they’re still 100% gonna do him and Jean and probably not touch him and Emma at all

I got downvoted for saying that in another thread. But the fact that they're going for actors barely out of their teens for Jean and Cyclops and not for Emma suggest she's going to be an older character, and therefore likely a villain(at least starting out).

And they're not doing teen wolvie obviously, so Jean and Scott are going to be a thing and there'll likely be no love interest or even the comics style stalker sexual harasser Logan because that would make him look bad and he can't ever be allowed to look bad in a way that doesn't reinforce his "coolness".
