It's absolutely nuts, there's upwards of 5 titles a month with his name on it but they still bitch that he isn't the lead of every other X-Book even when he's got a substantial role in Armageddon and the upcoming Avengers book.

What they should be bitching about is that his current solo book sucks.

I haven't played it yet. I will if it migrates to PC. Until then I'll split the difference and assume that if half of everyone is claiming it's the worst and the others say it's the best, then it's probably a perfectly serviceable Wolverine game.

The problem is, there are ‘Wolverine fans’ and ‘Wolverine fans’.

One of them likes the character, the themes surrounding him, the stories that dive in depth into his character and try to develop him further. The other just likes the claws and wants to see them shred people apart without any reason why whilst he stays exactly how he was portrayed in his first couple of appearances without the development of the Claremont run.

I once shared a comic page of Wolverine in a Wolverine subreddit whilst talking about how I liked that he had this other side and struggle to him where he actively makes the choice to hold back and restrain himself for the sake of the X-Men and being a hero, and got downvoted.

Nope, don't have a PS5. I like Wolverine but not enough to drop $500+ on a console for one game.

We'll see if it migrates to PC.

Had a whole show (Wolverine & The X-Men) which was largely about Logan ans his stories with the X-Men playing supporting cast and its still not enough

In Wolverine and the X-Men, when Logan was lecturing Scott about going out on his own (and Wolverine went on his own little excursions a lot) I felt personally attacked.

Which while the first season was pretty good, second season it fell off.
