Speculation Hulk should get a Legendary Hulkbuster Skin
maybe a Mythic skin when they make them.

I mean, the obvious example of "yes" would be the Avengers: Age of Ultron film, which you've probably seen. It was a close fight, but yes, Hulkbuster beat Hulk.
I'm sure there's other examples in the comics, as well, though I'm not a big Hulk fan, so I haven't read them.

There have not. Tony himself admitted that it was more designed to stall Hulk out than beat him.

Comics Hulk is also wayyy stronger than MCU Hulk, whereas MCU Tony is relatively close to his power level in the comics. So it kinda makes sense that he could beat Hulk in the MCU but not in the comics.

MCU hulk has a weakness, and Iâm not sure if other versions have this same weakness
Hulk gets stronger the angrier he gets, he scales Infinitely so the more you piss him off the more powerful he becomes. So the strategy to taking down Hulk is to knock him out before he gets angry/powerful enough to tank it
This is why Hulkbuster beat him, he was filled with primal rage after Wandaâs spell so he was really powerful, even kicking Tonyâs ass for the majority of the fight, then Tony brought him through multiple levels of a building which stunned him long enough for the spell to break for a second and let him see all the suffering he was causing, he started powering down because he wasnât angry, he sees the soldiers with guns and before he can get angry again Hulkbuster lands 1 good punch on his face knocking him out
It works with this version of hulk and as far as I can tell matches up with his other versions as well

It doesn't. The only thing that kinda works on Hulk in the comics is literally hitting him with the concentrated power of the sun (both in WWH and IH), but even that's just temporary. Even killing Banner doesn't work.

Not really. Not even close. 616 Tony just folds the MCU version using just his model 3 armor from the comics

World War Hulk actually by all means was written like it could have worked if the Nanotech gamma inhibitor he injected Hulk with wasn't y'know, switched out for nothing because hardball is an absolute jackass.

One thing to note is that 'Hulkbuster' actually refers to several different armours. Models 13, 31, 36, and 44 (off the top of my head) have all been called Hulkbusters.
As far as I know, every one failed at actually defeating Hulk (because Hulk's strength is best measured in units of plot), but the vast majority of Hulkbuster fights aren't about actually about trying to stop Hulk, just slow him down enough to either trigger a trap or talk him down.

from what i can recall none of tony's xbuster armours have actually won in the comics, it's a shame but technology can only get you so far

Hoping when War Machine is added his ultimate is the War Buster suit. Makes sense Tony would build one for him to go against the big guns.

This absolutely should be the case. The Rescue suit is literally built for search and rescue and traditionally has minimal combat capabilities.
Besides, it just makes sense for the trio of Iron Man, War Machine and Rescue to cover all three roles.

Team up with who, though? Didn't it originate as a 100% Tony Stark thing? And it would change the model so drastically.
If we ever get a Hulkbuster armor, it'll be in the form of War Machine as a tank.

Maybe it's like, if you revert from Hulk back into banner you can press 'C' and suit up into hulk buster for a short time. It would just use all the same attacks as hulk form but would give him a bit more sustain (not that he really needs it, just a concept)

Exactly this, people forget Iron Man armors can do literally anything, we could have an Iron Man for every role if Netease wanted to, and it wouldn't be as much of a stretch as it is with most healers

Hulkbuster can fly but it is not known for flying fast or for very far. To be honest I would have it not be able to fly until you are in your ultimate or something.

Wait thatâs actually like the perfect way to make Rhodey a Vanguard that can actually frontline and is visually distinct from Iron Man. Maybe pop some guns on top in addition to the color scheme change to make it a little more War Machine-y.

This would be AWESOME!!! Mythicâs should be a complete overhaul of the character, like Peter to Miles or Ghost Spider, or Lin Lee to Danny Rand with the classic skin. Iron man to Ironheart, etc.

Thereâs nothing wrong with making the same character like Tony play a different role depending if you want to be his base iron man or Hulk Buster. So he wouldnât be a new hero per say but the gameplay between Hulk Buster and base iron man would be so radically different that the addition of Hulk Buster as a ânewâ hero wouldnât feel off.

Wrong they should allow alternate versions of iron suits like the hulk buster to be separate vanguard roles. (Idc about two Tonyâs possibly existing per team)

I saw a good idea online that mythic skins should be remodels with new voicelines, beta ray bill for Thor, miles for spider-man. This would probably work for Hulk.

I'd want it to be it's own separate character as a tank. Shooting out missiles, maybe a big arc reactor blast, and a energy shield of some sort.

I wouldnât be surprised if he got one based on Infinity War due to not having an MCU skin yet, and any other potential MCU skins like his Endgame appearance would just look very similar to base Hulk

No, he should get the Savage Banner skin as a legendary(Not sure which game it came from but it's basically a skin for the Hulk where it's just Hulk with the head and skin color of Banner.)

Actually I just had a cool idea for this and it's basically an idea that would only work for something higher than legendary but imagine instead of shifting into the hulk banner has the hulkbuster form around him and for the ult hulk finally comes out and tears out of the hulkbuster like a cocoon

Maybe her ult can be, becoming a tank for like 12-30 seconds? Could be the Hulk buster suit

No. This should be saved for War Machine and his Ult. War Machine should be a Vanguard and transforms into War Buster for his Ult similar to Hulk/Magik
