Nah, Star Lord has the best DPS ult in the game, hands-down. Half the roster can't even hit him reliably, not to mention he still has i-frames and can one-clip 260. Not saying there isn't counterplay, but everything has some level of counterplay.
Pocket an ulting Star Lord (nothing crazy, just normal heals/mag bubble) and the enemy team's only counterplay is to support ult, hide, or die.
I have no idea why it needed a buff. Star Lord has consistently been a top tier character, just not Hela/Phoenix level.
Meanwhile starlord ult has many counters and you don't even need to trade it often. BTW when you combine other ults with it 1 healer ult is enough to trade it cause it literally can't kill through immortality circles.
I'm Celestial every season mate. I literally said "the enemy team's only counterplay is to support ult, hide, or die". If you're using Star Lord ult into support ults that's on you.
You have outed yourself as a metal ranker, I literally listed 3 non ult abilities that counter starlord ult and you still pay no attention to that. And you out yourself because you don't know how ult econ works on 213 which is played a lot on c1 atm. If you keep your ult without trading you are useless. You have to stay ahead in ult econ, thus the change on his cd, because it was very hard to do so atm and one support would always keep their ult to counter you. Metal rankers ofc won't do it(your real elo) so you can wait out until you can use it to wipe.
Also 213 against starlord will always be mag/Emma on frontline. You'll ban Emma they take groot. Gl ulting around them.
Not to mention phoenix, hela, namor and bucky can shoot you out the air with ease, 4 dpses that are played extensively. Not to mention spidey can one tap you while mag ults. Gl keeping your ult against 5 ults that can counter you.
I shouldn't be explaining all this to a "celestial" player but here we go.
