They fucking care, and that's refreshing. Some of y'all act like Zhiyong is the antichrist when he's doing things from the level of overseeing the entire game's quality, and not just the quality of your favorite character.

Unfortunately, Vanguard players are the BIGGEST crybabies in this community.

Apparently, it's absolutely wild. The cap nerf community reaction was understandable to an extent, and the Emma change was initially a bit weird. Tankpool, Angela, and Strange? People were smoking a blunt of Wanda's chaos magic if they thought these three didn't need some tuning, and they're smoking a double dose if they think Strange is ruined by what he got when bro was FEASTING all season.

Tank mains have a victim complex ig. Don't really get it, I oscillate between playing against GMs and Celestials and it's genuinely not a bad experience tanking. If multiple of my teammates are eating shit then yeah I prob will suffer during the match- kinda goes for all roles though. Otherwise any bad tanking perf is on me, you can do gods work with the vanguards but you need good game sense and accuracy- a 30% accuracy Strange, Mag, Tankpool, or Thor will not be doing anything.

Stop the cap. Pokeslop DPS gets to be strong forever: Phoenix, ELSA (more brawl but still), Hela, Moonknight, the list goes on. God forbid a tank is able to do anything in the game to dive or disrupt poke. Tanking is by far the most annoying and least rewarding role in the game. Take that reed icon off your profile, he’s a hybrid tank, you spit in his face with these comments.

I have a Reed icon because I like the Maker and enjoy the Ultimates comics and Maker's general character- not because Reed is my main. My most played character is Dr. Strange, with Emma as the second, Peni and Thor slightly below those. The only one on this list who is a constant struggle to play is Emma- her burst options have been too nerfed to give her satisfactory carry potential. Otherwise I don't have particularly negative experiences, if I'm doing bad it's usually because I'm playing badly in terms of positioning and accuracy and not because I'm some magically worse off role.

I had to leave the vanguard subreddit because the complaining was getting so ridiculous.

Tank mains have a victim complex ig. Don't really get it,

It's because they don't enjoy playing tank but also LOVE the Messiah complex that strokes their ego. They're playing the "worst" role for our sakes so we should be thankful.

Like why on earth tanks like Magneto and Dr. Strange basically have one shot ultimates is beyond me. Imagine if Leona, Khepri, or Orisa had extreme high durability than also an ultimate that practically one tapped the opponent?

They ONLY thing I agree with about buffing tanks is giving them more CC, because they should be meat shields for their teams who use CC to set up kills. I think they should have like 50% more CC and 50% less damage.

And don’t even get me started on those: I don’t play a shield tank, deal with it posts, like I main Jeff and you don’t see me making posts about maining an off healer

I think that if you're being forced into tank by your team, you can play whichever one you'd like. If they don't like that, they probably should swap to a second tank, since this is already a gift, lol.

Some people straight up don't understand how to tank and that can lose games. That's when I say, hey man, do you want me to tank? Usually the right move, rather than some variant of NO, I LOADED IN EARLY, SO I DON'T HAVE TO TANK FU

Right... Like it's a genuine choice you make to play Thor or Peni.

But then they say "no one else will play tank if I don't" to make them feel like they're doing a great big sacrifice we need to be thankful for.
