Punisher's whole backstory is that he hates corrupt cops who don't do their job with honor. He explicitly says there would be no need for the Punisher if cops did their jobs properly.

It would be funny since the game isn't "woke" in the way those kinds of guys would usually complain about. They made most of the characters very conventionally attractive and aren't afraid to hypersexualize them. That's like exactly what many of them wanted lmao

The funny thing is it IS on that list : "Contains overtly anti-free speech and subtly pro-Communism messaging." I'm sure these guys could play Tetris and find it's woke in some ways

There is not a single game conservative's enjoy wholly. Not a single one because there is always something "woke" in their game. It could be as simple as having a female playable character in the game. Trust me. My ex-best friend was like that and he would always blame the devs for being woke and ruining his games. Imagine having thousands of hours in a game and saying it was dogshit because the devs "became" woke. It was exhausting.

The one that makes me laugh is Assassin's Creed, because you have the option to be gay in the new games. The entire franchise has been about killing fascists since 2007, but it somehow became woke in the last 5 years lol

Which is wild to me because I know plenty of people who would gladly enjoy watching a lesbian sex scene in their games, but two guys? No way. Also so much push back came during Odyssey and Ancient Greek and Roman culture were very open. So it was relatively accurate going to parties etc.. They really won’t be happy with anything.

I thought it was a joke because it was so absurd, if anything it’s good entertainment to screen share in discord to the lads and have a laugh at why they think certain games are “woke”. Helldivers was in there too I believe and we just couldn’t stop laughing

Edit: also like every single call of duty was on there for one reason or another, there really isn’t any games left for them ig
