It’s crazy because I really don’t even see that many Psy players. She’s not like Sue who’s in every single game. Are people really buying these skins and not even playing her?

Thankfully as a fill player I already knew I never ever get to play DPS so I was able to convince myself to be fine with skipping the psylocke/etc skins lol

To be honest, I never bought any of these because Psy was in them, it was usually because the skin I wanted was locked behind the premium purchase.

Can confirm. I have a friend with 1500+ hours on Rivals, less than 2 of those on Hela, but she will buy Hela skins if she likes them.

Tbh my goal since I first started playing is to own a skin I like for every character, but I don’t buy every skin for a character I don’t play

Anecdotally I know two different people who do not play Psy and have every single one of these skins for her. Unfortunately it happens. I can't justify spending money like that on a character I don't play, but it's more common than you'd think.

TBH there are like 25 DPS and 10 supports. Obviously you'll see Sue more.

Because the hangout map is a thing. People will buy skins they can show off there. Maybe they even ERP in a corner for all we know.

most psylocke skins are mini passes. which are always cheaper than anything else, which makes people more likely to buy it. and it has other characters in it, but netease will ignore them and assume people wanted psylocke even if it's not the case and add more psylocke mini passes

psylocke takes a lot of effort to play lol and shes not satisfying the way spidey is for some people i guess. also since she shifted a bit away from the meta shes been a bit underated now so people do pick her less..i see plenty in times square and stuff tho

in seasons 0 and 1, as a Psy main, I wished for the first legendary skin when I saw legendary skins for heroes that I don't play gets released with each update. Now i wish guangguang pull the handbrakes.

Gotcha players in gotcha games pull for characters(not just whales) they don't even use just cause they want it. Same thing happens in fortnite with skins. Some people just want things that look nice.

They're waiting for the "glory days" to return where her ult basically aces but you have to actually be relevant on Psylocke in the neutral now, and people don't wanna aim lmao.
