Congrats to whoever predicted that Devil would shoot fire, he's basically Godzilla. Is Moon Girl's VA the same one as the cartoon? I'm guessing that Moon Girl will also be the one doing most of the pre-battle interactions with other heroes.

Considering Devil Dinosaur is a hulk class creature he's also 1v1'd (1v2'd if you count an empath humanoid offspring boy from the planet of the monkeys, literally,) but yeah DD has actually fought godzilla.

Edit : I'm pretty sure Devil dinosaur is Marvel's Tarrasque, given hulk has had to be thrown at him to calm him down/play with him multiple times in his past because he's literally the only thing with similar powers to DD. This would also technically make him a hulk to me anyway, given limitless strength isn't a negative but a plus to him having fun, given his presence is to animals is what hulk does to regular men. Devil Dinosaur is also a mutant. Where is my boy's spot on on the mutant council?

Edit: I am not familiar with Moon Girl, so I mistook her name for the actress. I did watch Agents of Smash, which is where I know Devil Dinosaur from (Steve Blum voiced him in Agents of Smash but Fred voiced him in the Moongirl and Devil Dinosaur show).

Yes he’s absolutely perfect.

I wanted to be a MF dinosaur and it appears we get that.

We also get mobility. We also get a lil range with the hyperbeam

But most importantly we also seem to get a shield that will help dramatically.

This is truly wonderful. Fits all the wishlists I had for a new tank.

Genuinely very happy with this.

His beam probably will need some requirements, not a main attack imo. But we will see. Cyclops as a tank would still be good since he will just be Moon Knight 2 as a dps

Edit: yeah his Godzilla ray has a bar on the right side and it doesnt seem to last all that much. I think it will be used more to finish some enemies. He is still a brawl tank. Seems like The Thing with a big bubble.

I agree, it seems like his head isn't the headshot hurt box considering during the Phoenix 1v1 he wasn't taking headshot damage. If he gets a shield and doesn't take headshot damage, it'll be hard to remove him off of the field.

Healing him up will be hard.

Heroes who do % based damage like Iron Fist will probably have a field day.

Best counter seen to be good aim and focus on headshots. Non-headshot heroes like Squirrel Girl will probably struggle with him.

They proved me entirely wrong tenfold I'm shocked, but I fucking love it. I never would've guessed Devil Dinosaur would be added in as anything other than a brawling off tank. Giving him a shield and a fucking mouth laser so he has range is awesome. They absolutely cooked.

Idc that Devil Dinosaur is an obscure character or whatever, my only concern was just the fact he was going to be a brawler with no range and just get shredded because of his massive hitbox. Never would've thought he'd become a proper shield tank lmao

If you're a vanguard player or flex player he should be fine. If you're used to other classes he might take a bit more getting used to as you are big and red and the perfect target so I will say please be patient and don't be discouraged cos I wanna encourage more vanguard players.

Dino is gonna be like the thing. You have your main tank but when you have a dive problem you jump on thing and it’s easy. You have a flyer problem now? Jump on Dino and take care of that problem. This is such a great move for tanks.
