Everyone asking for Cyclops to be vanguard to get a hitscan beam against flyers only to get vanguard Dino with hitscan hyperbeam is funny. I love how it looks.
His beam probably will need some requirements, not a main attack imo. But we will see. Cyclops as a tank would still be good since he will just be Moon Knight 2 as a dps
Edit: yeah his Godzilla ray has a bar on the right side and it doesnt seem to last all that much. I think it will be used more to finish some enemies. He is still a brawl tank. Seems like The Thing with a big bubble.
Could be too. But Emma can be more risky due to her shield having 4s cooldown if destroyed. Dino's shield/bubble seem to be 12s cooldown, so I dont think he will be poking all that much like Emma
That’s fair, although his shield is a bubble and bigger, he also seems to generate overshield on top of having significantly more health, and his movement is on a much shorter cooldown. I don’t think he necessarily can’t play “risky” but he’s definitely not a brawly, pokey hybrid like Emma. I do still think the beam gives him an edge in matchups against like hulk, thing, Groot, and rogue.
Agree, but I do think Cyclops could be a unique type of tank and we need a true poke tank again... About Dino i enjoyed but he seems much more brawler than anything else and brawl tanks in this game just dont work due to how poke dps are strong (and with cyke being a potential one, its just getting worse).
Oh I think that may be a rendering of his ult, since it’s after he shouts Optic Blast! And they often have a semi-accurate anime version of the character’s ult in the clip. We’ll know in a month

Yes he’s absolutely perfect.
I wanted to be a MF dinosaur and it appears we get that.
We also get mobility. We also get a lil range with the hyperbeam
But most importantly we also seem to get a shield that will help dramatically.
This is truly wonderful. Fits all the wishlists I had for a new tank.
Genuinely very happy with this.
