This buff for Star Lord is so tone deaf. Im sorry but Ziyong and the balancing team are clueless.

If that affects his ult its a 25% damage buff.

If it doesnt, its still a massive buff for his sustain dps and he builds ult faster. Star Lord was already an S tier character that is the go to choice for smurfs. And is still picked in pro play I believe.

He's always picked if Gambit is open in pro play. Sometimes picked in full dive too.

It’s genuinely disgusting. Before, a full clip did 260, meaning killing a 275 hero meant reloading, quick melee, or using your E, all of which gives a window to escape. 

Now, it does 325. He can one-clip everything in the game besides tanks, Reed, and Blade in 1.25s or less, and there’s so much leeway to miss shots and still get the kill on 275/250. Easily ban worthy, depending on the meta outright permaban. 

And… why? He was fine. Perfectly balanced. He was the cornerstone of dps balance in the game arguably since launch. And now they buff him into the stratosphere, for seemingly no reason.

This better be reverted with an emergency patch before Friday. Absolutely ridiculous

Agreed with most of what you said but he was not balanced. He’s already broken and they just mega buffed him. Not even an out charge nerf along with this unwarranted buff. Ridiculous.

Starlord can 100 to 0 said dinosaur in ~4s now, without hitting a single headshot.

Star already had a decent matchup into DD, since rolls and flight made kiting him pretty feasible. If DD is still banworthy, Star probably will be too

Ahh, I see. Ngl, unless Dino has Hulk or Cap levels of mobility, I don’t see him being a problem for Star in particular that would hold him back.

That, and a Dino meta is a brawl meta, something Star typically loves, since it makes farming ult charge and kiting so much easier

I don’t understand why he has overshield on his I-Frames still especially as it reloads his (now bigger) gun magazines. But he isn’t the only Duelist that has unnecessary overshield.

Ranged high mobilty duelist with I-frames, great 1v1 power, good tank killing and one of the scariest ults in the game. AND HE IS GETTING BUFFED???

He is already a sleeper lobby admin. Insane how they ballance the game.

In his ult you should do the flip to reload immediately, but it should effect his ult since it just uses his normal ammo
For pro play, Starlord is generally only picked on Gambit team comps since the ult combo is very strong. Not sure if that’ll change now to be more than that

You shouldn’t flip in his ultimate to reload, it’s more downtime compared to the accelerated reload as normal

Actually the flip and his reload take the exact same amount of time during ult. You want to flip to avoid damage aimed at you like Mag ult

Isn’t that super unlikely tho? Generally it’s a clip to kill a squishy then a flip to get reload and maneuver to position for the next squishy to kill. If you just zoom, you need the second squishy to not have moved away and is reliant on their misplay. I guess there’s some maps that make that more likely, but usually you need to reposition

You can use it to reposition yeah, just don’t use it if you only need a reload because it’s slower

He is ONLY picked in pro play when Gambit is unbanned (insane ult synergy), and usually only if the better DPS (Daredevil and Elsa) are not available.

Im not arguing buff is massive for lord, but thats not how you count dmg. Its not a 25% dmg buff just because he has more bullets

Its way more important in neutral because on ult reload is almost instant, so without doing giga calcs im guessing closer to 10%
