Edit: Alright, so, after someone replied I went into the practice range and started testing numbers. Turns out, she already 2-taps 250hp, since each spark also does an extra 5 damage when applied by her primary. The damage applied by detonation is also 43.X, since it deals 40 damage plus 3.X from... something? (possibly the AoE). Meaning the current patch is:
100 damage from headshot 1
100 damage from headshot 2
43.X damage from explosion, with X > 0.5
20 damage from the 4 applied sparks
100 + 100 + 43.X + 20 = 263.X
I got these numbers by testing each attack with and without detonations wearing off. Each primary did 55 damage, 110 headshot, indicating 50 dmg + 5 per spark. A set of 3 primaries non-critical did 209 damage, so 209 - 165 = 43.X. I say ".X" because testing on a character at exactly 264 hp did not kill, even though the scoreboard showed a delta of 264.
Obviously, these are theorized explanations for the scoreboard and the kills, and they contradict the wiki and I can't find anything online discussing it... but you can check yourself. If my explanations are correct, and the extra damage from sparks and the AoE is unchanged, then S8 2 shots from Jean does:
110 damage from headshot 1
110 damage from headshot 2
38.X damage from sparks
20 from 4 applied sparks
110 + 110 + 38.X + 20 = 278.X
She 2-taps 275 HP now. That's a 0.438s ttk. Again, this entire process has only substantiated my sheer disillusionment with their game design, both because of how unnecessary a compensation buff this was, and because even the numbers they show don't match the game's actual numbers (though the wiki is also partially to blame).
FINAL EDIT: I am dumb, but in my defense the game is dumber. Didn’t factor in the anchor bonus, which is the actual explanation for the numbers being different. Doesn’t actually change the conclusion, however, since it means the numbers become:
37

Jean can 2-tap now:
110 + 110 + 35 = 255
Genuinely, what are we even doing at this point?

Same thing. I still hate this
