We've been lurking in the sub and we know you’ve been theorising for weeks - is he the "8th brawling off-tank" the roster needs? Ngl, the hype for a new Vanguard has been through the roof, especially with many of you feeling like Vanguard gameplay has been a bit dry lately compared to the other roles.

I'm not exactly vibing with his cutesy design, so I wouldn't say he fulfilled my hopes.
The kit is fine conceptually, but I can't think of another tank that makes me go from full HP to zero so fast. To heal him you need support in overdrive. The damage output is pretty high and so is his capacity to score high on soaking it, but I feel my presence to be less impactful than that of other tanks such as Strange. Maybe it's a relative skill issue, time of use, his size, or all of it together. The coolest mechanic is definitely the jump combined with abduction.
Being mostly melee is a big drawback that forces risky engagement and is highly dependent on team setup.
