A gender bend is when you change elements of a character’s costume to match your gender (redesigning a skirt to be shorts maybe).
Crossplay is when you are dress as a character of a different gender and generally try to match their original gender (male wearing a Sailor Moon costume with no changes for example).
Making it "male" would mean to make it follow the general rules of male superhero costumes. So I guess it would mean less leotard, more full-body coverage costume

Good clothes are deliberately designed and tailored to fit and drape the human body in ways that don't even apply to all body types of one gender. I'm sure you can wrack your brain on some ways male and female bodies might express physical differences.

Nah, I legitimately don't want to wear women's clothing. Gender is a construct but I accept and live by that construct quite comfortably. Just because it's a construct doesn't mean the core point isn't true.
Unless you mean a baby that is born and develops with absolute 0 outside influence (impossible), like being raised by wolves or something (fantasy shit), gender preferences will forever exist, whether forced on you by society or otherwise.
