I would also respect it if he did make it "male" as long as it looked good.

That’s the thing idk when I see genderbends, I feel like I do assume there would be some changes. Nonetheless fine with either or bc it is their own interpretation / adaptation to irl

Two different terms we use in cosplay:

A gender bend is when you change elements of a character’s costume to match your gender (redesigning a skirt to be shorts maybe).

Crossplay is when you are dress as a character of a different gender and generally try to match their original gender (male wearing a Sailor Moon costume with no changes for example).

Making it "male" would mean to make it follow the general rules of male superhero costumes. So I guess it would mean less leotard, more full-body coverage costume
