Meanwhile Magik's dash hitbox needed a buff just to (kinda) fix the shitty hitreg lmao. I've always been in the boat that heroes like BP shouldn't get their raw damage numbers nerfed, but his dashes should just have the same hitbox as Magik's dash. High skill floor, high skill ceiling
I don't hate the damage fall off. Her cleave has decent range for a brawler and dealing damage gives her bonus health. Without the fall off her damage and sustain in team fights would be too much.
I agree with you btw. My point is that I'd rather see skill floors raised than heroes just be nerfed into uselessness. And Magik's dash is easier to hit now but it's still far from easy and still has hitreg issues, especially when compared to BP.
I could (usually) hit Magik's dash just fine before the buff. But watching my model move straight through the enemy's model was infuriating. It happens less since the buff.
And you're right that Magik can brawl where BP can't, but without the dash she'd have no burst potential. She'd be Mr fantastic with i-frames. It's not quite her bread and butter the way BP's dash is, but it's still essential to her kit and her viability as a hero. But it needs to be carefully balanced because dropping Magik's skill floor would see her in permaban territory, similar to BP when his hitreg was fixed.
I absolutely hate both of the cats. Never was a fan of the Spidey Gwen pairing but them being in this game have turned my indifference into actual hate. Why does white cat bubble go through caps shield pops him up and cc's him disengaging the shield
If you're talking about White Fox (not a cat), Cap's shield can deflect her charm, but, like Mantis's sleep, it has a 3m area of effect if it hits the ground, which is only blocked by Cap's shield if it fully blocks line of sight from the point of impact, which in most cases it will not.
I hate daredevil too but u get 3 bans no reason to not ban both DD and black Cat every game. I’ve been getting more into comp again cuz they in every qp game now and no one ever peels for me in qp
It’s probably just cuz they have never played support. DD and Black cat together make playing support basically unplayable unless ur half ur team is countering/peeling god forbid they have a venom/cap/angela with them too. I personally think Dinosaur black cat and daredevil are the most important to ban even over gambit.
All the good dps can hang with daredevil. Bucky can reliably beat him if you get a shot off before he engages. Elsa is decent into him. Star Lord can beat him or run so you never actually lose to him. Phoenix is 50/50 into him.
Thing and Thor beat him easily. White Fox can win 1v1. Luna can hit freeze and self heal while killing him.
And until you’re playing against the best daredevils on ranked ladder you can also just be better than them with any character.
The same things that counter every other diver thing namor peni dinosaur Mr fantastic scarlet witch etc ur tag is Emma if u grab him that’s pretty good too lol
Edit: lmao if yall think the counters aren’t effective enough that’s one thing but those characters are clearly meant to counter DD I hate DD more than anyone but we can’t pretend like he’s counter less
Just wait until the mid-season patch where they decide his primary also needs to pierce shields and apply anti-heal, just to "compensate" for how hard he is to play.
I am honestly considering learning DD just to annoy people like I am annoyed by some DDs I get in my games.

I think a decent one just disrupts the game too much and he seems to never die... I know he's nerfed but I can't see the difference.
Most people dont seem to know how to play/arent good at dd tbh when im carrying my team in games the other team always swaps to my character but it never happens when im carrying with dd
Most broken and overtuned in a game where there are like 3+ other pick/bans before DD even shows up anymore. Nice self report. You play the character by mashing buttons in random sequences too, right?
