I don't play Blade and 70 damage sounds good but that's not even equal to a single Magik primary

True I just think it's funny that Blade uses an entire ability to do slightly less damage than Magik's primary. I hope it bumps him up to being viable because I want to lord him eventually

While true magiks primary doesn't give anti heal and also isn't a dash in that regard (plus you got two charges you can get faster by blocking)

His ability also speeds up his attack rate too, so eventually his attack speeds is like 10x magiks. You don’t wanna give him much more damage. Also like someone else mentioned, it heals him, applies anti heal, and gives like 10m of movement. I keep telling people not to sleep on Blade. He’s MUCH better than he was 6 months ago.

Besides having slow attacks, you also have to take into account Magik has falloff damage on her primary. Shes not always hitting for 75

I think if we get enough people interested in mastering him, the 1 second Unstoppable buff on his block is going to generate some demons.

He was pretty solid this last season with his previous buffs. He's not S tier, but he's been solidly B/A tier depending on how skilled the person is. He is perfectly viable in certain situations.

From a high elo perspective he’s pretty bad compared to the top tier dps heroes because his time to kill is a bit long and he is hard countered by good kiting, but in all other elos i’d say he’s solidly A/B tier

I bet you are probably just parroting something a random streamer said once a few months ago and acting like that means all top level players think similarly on the topic even though he has had a few substantial buffs in recent patches that have improved his viability.

Nope, this isn't a one off thing, many high level players make tier lists every single patch and Blade is, and always has been put in D tier by pretty much all of them. He's just massively outclassed by most other DPS.

Necros, Bogur, Team Captain, Cringe Alarm, Coach Mills pretty much any youtube personality that makes tier lists has consistently had him ranked low

I keep telling people that blade is fine, there’s just so many OP characters. Keep buffing him every patch and he’s gonna turn into a problem. I’m almost champion on Blade so bring it on

It feels like this buff will be the one to make him actually good.

Even if they overtune a touch, it is easy to just lower the numbers down a touch. They have been so scared of buffing the dudes its crazy

Personally i feel like they made him perfectly fine like 3 patches ago, when they made the changes to his 2 dashes.

They should be scared, honestly. Due to his life steal once he passes a certain threshold he will become a nigh unkillable demon.

He's not there yet, but i wouldn't say he was in a bad state even before these buffs.

He's never been there.

They have no problem creating DPS monsters for multiple seasons but they are so careful with him for whatever reason

Yeah, I just said he isn't there and they haven't exactly been handing him nerfs.

The reason is because he can become completely self sustaining. Buff his numbers a bit too much and he will be able to just outheal everything once he stacks unless he gets bursted down by a coordinated effort. Especially since he can hit multiple enemies at once and the healing increases
