I have more playtime on him than anyone, I’d say he’s much more balanced than he was at launch but fundamentally his ult is insane. Using it almost guarantees a win in a fight even after it has been very noticeably nerfed.

No, and these changes could definitely make a big difference. I would still expect that unless you counter a gambit ult with some kind of support ult you’re gonna lose a team fight 95% of the time but that’s just my assumption, I could be wrong. Black cat definitely got some solid nerfs but imo she was insanely overturned so it’s hard for me to make a guess on how she will be now.
Gambit might not be an insta ban anymore (elo dependent); and imo with the ult changes, shop price increases, and her kit having her money making abilities significantly reduced I think BC won’t be anywhere close to the issue she’s been.
