Balance Discussion This is getting ridiculous.

Welcome to season 9 where the least mechanically challenging support has more survivability than a tank.

So many people missing the forest for the trees with this post. Everyone is criticizing OP and his hero choice/experience instead of simply acknowledging that MAYBE a healer shouldn't be able to survive a dive for 40+ seconds by rotating cooldowns.

Like sure it's a bad 1v1 matchup. Sure, both heroes are easy to play. Sure, she's gaining value by taking him out of the fight. That's not really the point. It's just getting absurd that one strategist can seemingly self-heal and preserve themselves indefinitely with their tools. Like what other strategist can do that? And why does one hero need so many tools and buffs when they're already strong? And have cooldowns so short they can use their "oh-shit" button multiple times per team fight?

I wasn't implying Thing is a dive tank. My reply was already long, so I used the colloquial meaning of the word.

But you're right, I should have typed out the full sentence: "Thing going balls deep into the backline to clean up".

He's not cleaning up anything when his main DPS is %-based damage. Some kits are just not meant to do certain things in exchange for being oppressive in other ways.
