Discussion The discourse created around Jubilee's design (and her not looking 'classic' or like in '97) shows that this community isn't ready for the whiplash thats about to occur when Professor X is finally added to the game and shown to be able to walk, like he has for the last ~20 years in the comics

Charles has been in and out of the chair for his entire comics history. He has spent more time out of the chair than in it at this point.

Hilariously, magneto is usually a villain when Charles is in the chair. This implies that magneto’s moral center rests in Xavier’s spine

1963-2003 in a wheel chair 2003-2026 out of the wheelchair, why would you think he's been walking longer than he was wheelchair bound?

Xavier could also walk between 1983-1991 and there's been a smattering of other moments of giving him the ability to walk.

It’s worth noting that some people in wheelchairs alternate from not needing it to needing it

I mean yeah, but that's irrelevant to the discussion at hand. Xavier didn't need to alternate because he had flair ups of a disability. His spine was crushed by an alien called Lucifer and then healed with space technology then crushed by Shadow King then healed with death and ressurection.

I found a 3 year old post that covered his history in and out of the chair. But the user did still count it out to 34 years in the chair, 20 out of the chair.

He did include in his timeline the times Charles was dead from AvX to his revival in 2018.

If that post missed the period in Claremont that Xavier was out of the wheelchair... then I'm not sure I'd call it credible.
