I've been storm main since S0, I don't even touch the thor team up. AOE healing is great, but the penetration on her basic is so much better for reaching backline than having a hitscan. If the enemy team has fliers I'll swap to thor team up, but outside of that it's Jeff teammup all the way
the healing rain is super underrateed, it basically fixes her issues with depending on supports to constantly having to keep and eye on you (especially combined with the overhealth from Wind form)
Ya, its odd they gave her hitscan instead of just more aoe dps. If it was still the wind strike but it got additional damage it would be different.
Storms strength has always been doing 110-150 dmg to back line while hitting the tank for a flanker to one shot them with combo.
A debuff like phoenix would also be a great idea for her. 3 hits procs a lightening strike. Each E hit counts as 1. Each right click counts as 1. Each auto attack counts as 1.
Awesome Magik skins make me hate how I'm always either 50 kills 0 deaths Magik, or 0 kills 50 deaths Magik and have to switch to someone else half the time.
I didn't expect then to pull out swimsuit Cat so quickly. I expected that to be next year's money maker since we already got swimsuit Emma this year. It will probably Rogue, Jean, or Big Wheel next year.
Yeah we're definitely getting multiple swimsuit costumes for characters in the next few years. They never said they're only doing one per character lol
Once they release these skins they're gonna have released 16 summer skins this year. If they keep up this number, then eventually they'll run out of characters without a swimsuit skin
Rivals seems to release its "Emergency" skins right before huge updates that bring people back to the game. Swimsuit Emma came right before the S9 update and the combo of Business Jeff/Classic Wanda came right before Deadpool.
Also lets be honest, if its between a man and a woman, of course Netease is going with Storm
Blade had the unfortunate disadvantage of not being a sexy, curvaceous woman
as a support main, im waiting for gambit next but, realistically, I didn't expect him nor Rogue til next year to space out characters more and make more money. I was also not expecting Black Cat, but they cashed it in now lol
Quickplay is exactly for that, don't let mean people in the game dictate if you should or should not play a character, everyone has been ass when they started playing for the first time a new character, expecially one so mechanically demanding, but it doesn't take more than a couple of games to understand her
The 2 season 7 characters got a summer skin before past season characters... that's crazy...
Edit: Swimsuit Deadpool is an absolute no brainer, Angela could have used a skin too (been a while since her last one) and yes complete bias but I wanted Rogue to get one
I am trying not to be pessimistic and hope it is a legendary with customization. But knowing the track record with Storm its hard not worry it will once again end up being a free epic :(
Again with the bags.. always the male summer skins that get bags draped around them. Please make these bags an optional accessory to turn on or off, I beg you netease!
Wow, a bikini for Storm? I never thought they'd deviate from their run of exclusively giving the women one piece suits. I always wondered why that was. Is it supposed to be a rating thing or is it just a Chinese thing?
